Mercy College is situated on 10 hectares of land on the corner of Beach Road and Mirrabooka Avenue in the Perth suburb of Koondoola. The school has been at this location since 1970 and has a wide range of building dating from the 1970’s through to our newest building (Frayne) which was completed in 2015.

Mercy College caters for students from Kindergarten through to Year 12. The majority of the lower primary classrooms and facilities are located towards the Beach Road end (southern) of the school, whilst most of the secondary facilities are located at the northern end of the school. There are also two administration blocks, the Beach Road administration which houses the schools finance team and primary administrators (Head of Primary, Assistant Heads of Primary) and the Mirrabooka administration block (known as Student Services) and is staffed predominantly by the secondary leadership team and administration staff servicing secondary students.

The school has three car parks:

  1. The Mirrabooka Staff car park located off Mirrabooka Avenue. This also has four visitor car bays for any parents and visitors needing to visit our Student Services administration building. This is not a student drop off area, unless prior approval has been granted for students requiring special consideration (ie. broken leg, operations, etc).
  2. The Library car park located off Mirrabooka Avenue. This is one of our two student drop off car parks and is open during the morning and afternoon for drop off and pick up. Please note that this car park is closed most days between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
  3. The Beach Road car park is located off Beach Road and is our main primary school car park with a ‘kiss and drive’ facility. This car park remains open throughout the day for any parents wishing to visit the school.

Mercy College has two facilities which may be available for hire:

The Chapel of St Brigid, which is only available for weddings for existing staff members and past Mercy College students. To check eligibility please contact the College Director of Mission.

The Community Hall, which is available to the extended College community (ie. Mercy College use, Parent Council functions and local Parish functions). Please contact the College Operations Manager to check usage and availability.
