Ms Antonietta Scriva - Head of Learning Area

The Head of VET manages, in partnership with the Head of Learning Areas and Heads of Department, the VET programs offered at Mercy College. All the VET programs offered at Mercy Collge lead to a nationally recognised qualification if all units of competency aligned with the qualification are completed. Alternatively, where students do not complete all units of competency, a Statement of Attainment is issued for those parts of those competencies that are successfully completed.

The certificate and / or statement of attainment obtained by students will be recognised in all eight of the States/ Territories in Australia.

This is because within Australia we have a national qualifications framework called the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Through the AQF there are two different types of qualifications you can obtain. Attainment of these qualifications can enable you to move onto higher education.
