Congratulations to Luwam Hailemichael who recently completed two weeks workplace learning at Georgiou.

During her time on workplace learning Luwam completed the following tasks:

  • transferred CVs from old templates to new templates
  • wrote a short story for national reconciliation week that featured in the Georgiou newsletter
  • conducted a Facebook and LinkedIn analysis to drive company improvement
  • contacted suppliers to organise Georgiou family day - attended communications team meetings
  • wrote a short story for World Environment Day

Luwam says she had a blast on workplace learning and that she is so grateful to have had the experience within such an amazing company.

Thank you to Georgiou, in particular Alisha Glenny Communications Manager who supervised Luwam whilst on workplace learning.

Workplace learning is not possible without the help from small and large businesses. If you know of any businesses that would be interested in hosting a Mercy College workplace learning student please contact Ms Antonietta Scriva on the following email: scriva.antonietta@cathednet.wa.edu.au

The following Careers seminars will be occurring lunchtime at the C.A.V.E. They will be held from 1:00pm - 1:35pm for Years 10,11 and 12 students.
