The winner of the Secondary School Logic Puzzle Competition was Sienna Santovito (7FX), and the Primary School competition was taken out by Nathan, Isaac and James of 6 Rho so congratulations boys! The Escape Room proved incredibly challenging for the students, with the team coming closest to completing being Pearl Chan (11FX), Katy Le (11OX), Trish Phan (11OX) and Angela Nguyen (11MX). Well done girls!

One of the most popular activities of the week was the Matching Pairs Activity. All Year Seven and Eight students were given a sticker with either a maths question or an answer. Students had to hunt around the College to find the person with their matching pair. Well done to those students who were first to find Mr. Coombs at recess with their match – Lachlan Brown (7FP), Sarah Sutton (7MX), Hana Hailemichael (8FX) and Tyler Palmer (8MP). The Spaghetti and Marshmallow Towers Competition was very popular, especially with the Primary School students. Groups led by Sienna Maltese (6 Rho) and Olivia Pocsidio (6 Chi) took out the prizes for best constructions. Monica Huynh (8OX) was the winner of the Chess Competition, with a special mention also to the runner-up, Ashlee Palomo (11MP), who took out none other than Mr Borrello in the first round. Thanks to all the students who completed the Daily Brain Teaser Puzzles, putting their lateral thinking skills to the test.
