Finucane Gymnasium

Mercy College Gym

The Finucane Hall Gymnasium was built in 1998 and named in honour of long serving principal, Mr Dick Finucane; since then the Gym has been a focal point for our sporting and performing arts programs.

The floor provides a good playing surface for our basketball, netball, indoor soccer and badminton teams while also providing a quality performance space for our dance teams. A state-of-the-art weights room adds to the features of the Gym and the mezzanine floor can provide extra teaching areas while the gym floor is in full use.

A large foyer area, full size kitchen, rehearsal rooms and abundant shower and toilet facilities make the Finucane Hall Gymnasium a great facility at Mercy College .Our musical production is an annual highlight for the performing arts students and staff. A full size stage with quality lighting and sound facilities and seating for over 800 people provides a first-rate venue to showcase our College.

Learning Centre and whole school assemblies are also held in the Gym.
