The Arts Department at Mercy College is comprised of specialist Arts teachers who bring a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience to their various fields.

Students at Mercy College can choose from a number of Arts subjects such as Music, Drama, Dance, Art & Media. These subjects are currently offered to both MLC and SLC students.

The Arts is a very valuable area that builds confidence, self esteem, co-operation, focus, commitment and dedication.

A feature of the Mercy College Arts Learning Area is the specialist Music Program run by the new Director of Music; Miss Erica O'Mara. This program consists of both vocal and instrumental studies, which in turn, covers a large variety of options.

The Arts area at Mercy College also offers a wide selection of extra curricular activities such as the School Production, Concert & Jazz Band, Choir, Dance Team and a number of visual and performing arts competitions and festivals.
